Vacuum pump pulley

How does one remove the pulley from the vacuum pump pulley?

Got a new pump coming minus the pulley.....

Use a power steering pump pulley remover/installer that you can rent/borrow from the parts store.

Hi Rodney

Good point , Still not finding any info on removing or installing the vacuum pump pulley , while looking at the pulley its not clear what holds on the pulley (no nut or bolt) or how to remove it,,,,,,, any info is appreciated!

its what we call "press fit" because it has to be pressed on. do what rodney said and get the power steering pump pulley tool. nothing holds it on because a press fit is so tight.

Remove vacuum pump pulley using Steering Pump Pulley Remover T69L-10300-B.
Remove vacuum pump bolts.
Disconnect vacuum pump hose and remove vacuum pump (2A451).

INSTALLATION

Connect vacuum pump hose and install vacuum pump.
Install vacuum bolts. Tighten bolts to 23-32 Nm (17-23 ft lb) .
Install vacuum pump pulley using Steering Pump Pulley Replacer T65P-3A733-C.

Its been a while since I did mine. I cant remember if I pulled the fan out of there or not to get to it.

1 N605790-S2 Bolt, Vacuum Pump-to-Bracket
2 2A451 Vacuum Pump
3 3A674 Power Steering Pump
4 26487 Vacuum Pump Pulley
A -- Tighten to 23-32 Nm (17-23 Lb-Ft)

Don't try pulling it with a 2 or 3 jaw gear puller or you will destroy the pulley.
