My truck
Well folks, I've finally built up the courage to post some pics of my truck. That and I've finally taken the time to take some pics.
I bought the truck over 20 years ago as a teenager (i.e. plenty of time, no money). Was able to tear it apart, clean it up and then started college (no time, no money) so there it sat for about 10 years in boxes in my dad's pole barn. Finally got into the work force (no time, little money) but started a family (no time or money again). I've finally been able to get it done though and although she's not gonna win any awards I have a ball wrestling her down the road when the weather allows, which is soon to be not at all here in Ohio.
Bed wood is hickory w/ a natural stain and varnish - I like the hardness of the hickory and the grain and different colors are unique.
Seat is out of a Dodge Dakota. It fit nice and was cheap. I don't think it makes me a "Darksider", does it?
That is a Merc, w/ supercharger from Roadrunner Engineering, turning a Tremec 3550 5 speed, stock rear end, suspension, brakes, etc. I'm not sure why my heads changed color - they are supposed to be red like the block - I've got to change that because orange on an engine is disgusting.
Well, thanks for looking and thanks for all your knowledge you have put on here so idiots like me can learn a thing or two to help us on our way.
