5.8 engine swap questions

I have a 89 250 4x4 351, need a engine so , here's some options, a 94 bronco 5.8, use my fuel injection setup, or carb?, or a 98 351 lightning motor, again my injection or carb ?, I assume all will bolt up to my trans and acc., thanks for any input, I have the old low oil pressure, and knock on cold start. If the truck wasn't in such good shape ( I bought it in Utah) I'd just buy another truck, but no rust, and fully loaded Lariat model. ??? Let me hear some idea's out there, thanks, nybronc

For a the least amount of trouble swap in the '94 5.8, it's a direct swap with absolutely no changes necessary to your truck, just be sure to use the flywheel/flexplate that's in your truck now, bolt it in, and connect the existing wiring harness to the motor. The '94 motor has a bigger cam in it so you'll see power increases but not enough to upset the EFI system. It's a win-win.

P.S All EFI 5.8's use the same intake so you don't have to change anything on the donor motor(besides the flexplate) if it comes complete.

thanks Paul, would the 98 be a option as well, would my intake bolt to that also, someone mentioned to me the 5.8 engines were the same on the outside, just the internals and injection had changes.,
