lightning engine

well today I ran across a 94 lightning engine just when I was ready to buy a 94 351 bronco motor, anyway, will my 89 351 parts bolt up to the 94 long block ok ?, either way everything needs to come of my motor and transfered over, I'm thinking the lightning engine might give me a bit more power than the 94 bronco motor ? any thoughts ?

I would use the long block lightning ( gt 40 heads) and bolt up my accesories to it, I would use my injection, or could go carb I guess.

Why? Just get everything from the Lightning. Is it not complete or something? The lightning will have T mount ALT.

T mount alt ?, unfort. the guy thru out all the acc. off the front of the engine, he put them in the truck when it went to the crusher, all he kept was the long block, intake, oil cooler, fuel rale and the harness, he was building a mustang project. Anyway, all my acc should bolt up then, use my flywheel on it ?

You could use your truck intake on the motor but the L version is better if you can figure out how to mount the cable linkage and fab up a single intake tube and filter. Otherwise it's the same block so all your accessories will bolt right on.

wasted lightning- went to crusher

I know, it had a hole in the frame so instead of changing out the frame or having it repaired he tore it apart and is selling off the parts. at least I bought the long block, and seat out of it for my 89 f-250, and and my luck goes, I just found a complete engine I'm buying also, hmm, which one to use.

T mount alternator ?, and which intake would be good on it ? I can fab a air intake easily enough and cable I could prob. deal with also if not a huge issue with it.
