04 5.4 help

i have a 04 f150 5.4 with 90,000. last Dec i started having problems with my iwe system and coil plugs. i had the plugs replaced and needed one cop. ive replaced both hubs and actuators, the iwe solenoid and made my own cover for it, and check valves all within a couple months. so with that said i stared to here my hubs trying to engadge while driving but it doesnt do it all the time, its usually slowing down and turning slightly or under slight load. its not constant tho. also my truck has started to idle rough and run a lil sluggish. not to much longer did my engine light come on with a bank2 sensor2 lean condition. i know about the phasers and the vct, but also im not to sure those are the causes. ive read hours of these same complaints but with little conclusion of the fix. has anyone had this problem and it be a vacuum leak. i read alot about the phasers and how having them replaced didnt fix the problem. i have also thought about the pcm reflash. Im for a loss with this. the truck ran great before all this and now its been down hill with high monthly payments and no warranty. if any one could give me some advise it would be highly appreciated. and does any one know a tech in central fl.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like it could be a vacuum leak. There is a great thread on IWE and check list, so I would start with that. Especially since you changed the check valves, something sounds fishy that would led me to check the vac system thourghly..

ive checked my vacuum lines that i can get to, the ones on the back of the intake manifold is what i question. i cant really hear a leak but its hard to tell. when i disconnected the battery and cleared the code, itook it for a drive and it ran fine it seemed so after i got home i had to run back out quick and the light came back on of course and it started running rough again and as i hit my brakes to pull back in my drive way, i heard my hubs again, but when i drove it the first time i herd nothing.

try spraying the intake system withB-12,especaly where the booster hose goes to the lower part of the intake.listen for the motor to smooth out and focus on that area.

I droped it off at the dealership after no luck and they said my bank 2 sensor 2(o2) is bad. they havent looked at my iwe system yet but told me that I didnt have a vacuum leak. I asked if there was an update for my pcm and it does so im having them reflash it as well. im going to change the o2 sensor out myself rather paying 380 for them to do it. ill post back when i find out more tomarrow.
