Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Matt and I just purchased an '00 XLT 2WD Ex. I picked it up to haul parts/cars and so far have been pleasantly suprised with the vehicle. It came with a few mods (wheels/tires/lift?/intake).
The question mark above pertains to my first question. The ex is currently riding on 315/75/16 tires which I believe are close to 35's. I believe the vehicle is currently lifted as I read the 2wd Ex's came lower from the factory than the 4wd's. I measured from the ground to the center of the wheel wells and it's currently sitting at 39.5 inches in the front and 40 inches in the rear.
Does anyone here by chance have the stock measurements? I do know that the vehicle has Bilstein shocks on it currently but i'm not sure what i'm looking at when it comes to the suspension itself.
Thanks for measuring for me. I'm going to go out tomorrow to try and determine which lift I have on the vehicle. I'm actually pretty pleased with how it sits now but wouldn't mind getting a little more height if possible. I'm in the process of purchasing new wheels and am still torn on tires. I'm essentially running 35's right now so I know they wouldn't be an issue but i'm toying with squeezing 37's on.
I went out earlier and check for spacers. I didn't see any on the front end at all. Just the spring which was all black with no markings as well as the Bilstein shock. The quest continues to figure out what I have, lol!
