Gauge cluster and throttle problem

Gauge cluster and throttle problem
I have a 2002 F350 crew cab long bed. I stopped at a store yesterday and when I came out and started my truck I had no throttle and the gauge cluster was not working. It shifts and moves at idle speed but no throttle. The clock works but nothing in the cluster lights up.
I have owned this truck for about one and a half years now. Shortly after I bought it I purchased the Edge Evolution programmer and installed the towing program. I put in new batteries about 2 months ago.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Mines doing the same thing but blowing a #45 fuse (Excursion) and throwing a 221 code that I think is related to the throttle position sensor. Can you scan for codes? it's a soft code and doesn't always trip the light. There is a TSB out on it bulletin number 03B03. Tried to post a link but my stoopid computer said no.

Sheldon,
I want to thank you for so quickly responding to my problem. You were right. But I had two blown fuses. The numbers didn't correspond to yours but the replacements fixed the problem. I just have to wait for the rain to stop long enough to install the new shift lever.
For everyone's information, my mechanic is an 18 year Ford veteran and he told me the wire cannot be repaired or spliced because there is resistance built into the wire.
Once again thank you to everyone for your responses.
