I installed a 3" Dowpipe and Gutted the EBPV. The EBPV while 100% open when the truck was off, closed about 15-20% when I started up the engine. We couldn't have that, so she was evicted.
I also drove about 5 miles with no exhaust, and no EBPV housing. Just turbo. That sounded awesome but I was afraid to give it too much throttle.
30psi revving??? Highly doubt that... I can rev mine out to about 4200 RPM and only get about 5psi of boost in neutral.... bigger injectors and all...
congrats on the new mods man. I still haven't done an EBPV delete on my truck, but it will go away soon enough. The turbo sounds awesome when it lets off w/ out the EBPV!
Got my Autometers installed this weekend. I wasn't getting any boost revving in neutral. At about half throttle taking off I'm only getting about 10psi. Too wet to get a good WOT take off right now to see how much boost I can get.
I am kinda afraid that I tightened down my compression fitting at the gauge though... Is 10psi at moderate throttle too low with Stage I's?
My pyro numbers look good though. About 600* cruising at 60.
