Air Dam

Has anyone installed or is looking to install the PIAA air dam P/N30530 on there Expedition? My question is. Will the small air dam, under the existing one fit??? & how hard are the lights PIAA 520 series, to install in the new air dam???

Air Dam

I have installed that air dam on my 99 XLT 2WD, with a set of PIAA 520 driving lights. I'm not sure what you mean by the 'inner' air dam. There is a splash guard connected to the bottom of the Ford air dam, a flexible black piece, if that's what you mean. The splash guard is not really dealt with by the PIAA instructions. I drilled 4 holes in the bottom of the PIAA center opening and bolted the splash guard to the airdam. This is the same as the Ford setup except for the bolts. The splash guard is performing it's original job, is not trying to pull loose, and helps pass more air thru the radiator/cooler/condensor.
