Air dam.

Is the air dam under the bumper really necessary? I replaced my bumper and have since had trouble keeping the air dam in place. What purpose does it serve? Thinking about ripping it out.

Supposed to help mpg's, I don't think it helps more than 1/2 mpg at best at highway speeds. You won't notice.

that is the very first thing removed when putting a snow plow on.
i have never driven a truck with one on it.
