Front end noises.
I have had my Expy for about 4 months now. I noticed shortly after buying it that when in reverse, and the wheel turned all the way to the right, I can hear a popping sound in the driver's front end. Sounds much like a bad CV joint, or even a wheel snapping when the lugs are loose. All looked OK when I inspected though. I took the truck in and was told that the lower control arm bushings AND the torsion bar were bad. They sprayed each with lubricant, and the noise went away briefly. Over time the noise had gotten worse, even to the point that I sometimes hear it when I abruptly hit the brakes when the nose dives. Does this diagnosis sound familiar to anyone?
