Biggest waste of 2k on the planet. Take your money and buy aftermarket. Sync sucks, the sound is a joke and the lack of an eq, actual bass, treble *****, and crappy graphics, don't even get me started with trying to get an Iphone to work properly with this thing. You would think that Ford would find a way for this thing to play nice with the most popular phone on the planet would be a priority..
My current truck has SYNC without the nav. I order a new one and it has the NAV. Until you play with one, you really can't bash it.
It is a really nice unit. I can't wait to have it.
The sound controls (bass, treble) have nothing to do with Sync or Nav for that matter.
Sync is the VR software. I have been very happy and satisfied with it.
While I agree it would be nice if Sync worked with every phone, it never will until there are mandatory standards for BT protocols. It's up to each phone/carrier to decide how much (or little) to follow the recommended protocols.
I'm not a hater dude, I just want it to be worth the money I spent on it. While some things on it are nice, you have to admit that the system over all is a let down.

Not to me it isn't. It's worked flawlessly and makes navigation and audio control much easier than any portable unit.
I do admit I am peeved about the map upgrades (both cost and value). Wish Ford had offered a lifetime map upgrade (even as an add-in option).

Dont get upset bro, just messing with you.
I just pick up my truck today with the Nav. I will update if i have any issues.
I will say the sound is not as good as i would like for the price.
But factory integration for 1500 bucks with a 3 year warranty. I'll take it.
