Bad injectors or something else??
I posted a thread talkin bout the problem with my 92 f-150 with 4.9. It started sputtering lost power for a little and when it idles it's rough only when it's sittin. Transmission shifts harder now too. Also check engine light came on. Ok so here's what I've done so far. The truck has a new fuel filter, checked plugs, plug wires, distributor rotor button, took off exhaust to c if maybe cat was causing it, also checked map sensor, made sure vaccum hoses were on. So is it the injector?? Any help is appreciated

Just wanted to ask if the fuel pump has been checked. My '92 F-150 4.9 started doing the same thing about a month ago. It progressively got worse and would throw an HEGO code, EGR code.
Pulling the codes should definately help and what I have posted may not apply to you. Could be the IAC, ECT, IAT, or any number of things. Let us know what the codes are and someone can help further your diagnosis.
