the best way is to take a knife/razor blade and cut the rubber on the out side and have you on one side and some one on the other side. and gently push it out. to install it, pay someone. then you know its right.
Like Frankensteined67 said, cutting the rubber is the best way. I just removed a couple windshields. One of them didn't have anything but the rubber around the window and the other had black adhesive/sealer in it. Guess which one leaked?
When installing I highly recommend some kind of sealer in addition to the rubber.
