So I was at the Ford dealer today checking on my truck and got to looking at a couple CC SB's next to each other. Both were 4x4 and not FX-4's. I noticed that the 6.2 had 3 leaf springs and the 6.7 had 2.

Why the difference?
Did you check options?? -It could be that the 6.2's had the overload that comes with the Camper package...
The 6.7 might not have had the same package - just a guess..
Anybody know what the real weight difference is between the two? I'm guessing the oil-burner is substantially heavier...but maybe the new 6.7L isn't a whole lot more than the 6.2.
My 6.0 used to have a noticeable heavy front end.
If the new 6.7 and 6.2 are close in weight, maybe they don't justify changing out the suspension for an "apples-apples" truck...
i beleive the 6.7 is a 800lb weight increase over the 6.2...
it was listed somewere here a while back when details were first coming out...
Oy...800lb difference, yeah, you'd think the suspension on the front axle would be beefed up a bit over the gas engine. I guess they probably put a heavier spring up front to manage that difference in weight.
