Hauled home a 1986 F-250 XLT Lariat, 6.9/T19. It's gonna need some work, like new belts, fluids, GP's, battery cables, half a return line kit, rear brakes/axle seals, gear plugs in both window motors and a new front axle. It has a D44HD but the center is grenaded, the bearings are shot on the passenger side and the lug studs are shot on the driver side. I'm just gonna swap in the D50 from my other 86 F-250 since I know it's in great shape.
I'm gonna get it up to snuff and then let my mother and sister use it for awhile to pull their business trailer around the state. If they like it I will let them have it, if not then it will become my plaything.
half a return line kit he says....... man you really are a glass half full kind of guy hahhaha
It's not how it sounds, lol. My buddy installed a return line kit on one side of the motor that was leaking. I would rather do the other side as well just so everything is the same age/condition.
