The 1st pic was a test starting...carb reeds were frigged up, the 2nd, the thing started right up but that kick lever bites like a great white shark. Took 2 hrs to stop bleeding. Way to much blood in my beer system.

It didn't help when my steam cleaner decided to use my leg to get out of the moving van instead of the ramp. I still have a dent from that, two years ago.
push starting it might not work... we found out on a cr500 both lessens in one day... not a good idea to try and kick start it in shorts, and to try and compression start it...
(push starting was only a bad idea cause it involved to much work accomplishing nothing but skiddin the rear tire...)
There's the issue of pushing it up the hill to push it off in the first place-
And Carl, you need to learn how much ankle support you can get from lightweight 8" tall boots. It's quite nice really.
Yep haven't had an infection in 30 yrs. The leg is healed..I did that when i started rebuilding the damn thing. The foot was yesterday(while repo'ing it).
I wadded the peroxide to it.
My old Husky 390 has been in pieces in the attic for years. That thing was lethal to try to kick start, half the time it would kick back and just about break my leg. Definitely uncomfortable on the sole of the foot...!
