I have to use the filler necks off the new box. The black plastic hoses within the fill neck hoses are different. What do I do in this case?Do I need filler necks from a diesel? The ones on the new box are from a gasser.Thanks for any help. I just don't want fuel spills.

No you dont. You can use your old filler necks, just unscrew the filler neck from the plastic "pocket" it is attached to on the 80s bed. Then screw your 80s filler neck right to the 90s metal "pocket" Done. No need to modify or buy anything else
