Profile says you're in Michigan? Not much up in the rest belt that is rust free.
Best bet is to start searching down south. searchtempest.com will search all craigslist ad's.

There's other ways to get a rust free bed. Take any bull nose or OBS 8' box and put reproduction fenders on the sides. Theres a few threads on here about it.
A few questions are what's the budget, timeframe, mechanical knowledge. Best thing about these trucks is you can start by knowing the difference between a Phillips and a Flat-Head screw driver are. If you have the ability to learn, some thick skin and persistence your truck will look exactly the way you want it to.
Post a picture up of the truck, I find the easiest way is with your cell phone.

1973/76 F100/350 Stylesides have exposed fuel caps, 1977/79 F100/350 Stylesides have fuel doors.

'Bull Nose' is a term for 1980/86 trucks, the beds look completely different than 1973/79.

1980/96 F350 Stylesides with DRW were the only ones with fibreglass fenders that bolted to the bedsides.

Otherwise, no Styleside has rear fenders, they're known as quarter panels or bedsides.

For that price I have one I'd sell in NC? Dual tanks already there. Starting to thin the herd. Not getting any younger and time is less and less...

PM me an email for pics if interested.

Referencing this thread.

Not sure if it's that one. There was a thread where a member took a 90's bed. Drilled the spot welds removed the OBS bedsides and placed dent side panels on it.

Southern Truck sells rust free GM, Chevrolet, GMC, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota, Mazda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan truck parts and also does truck restorations and customized paint jobs.

There you go. My brother has bought stuff from them before. Pricey but no drama way to get what you need. They are in Michigan but they will ship freight here to wv as my brother can vouch.

So, am I reading this right, I can take bedsides from my 79 LB, and mount them on any 80-96 long bed?

Yes you can. Well sort of. You'd also have to change the outer wheel house. It's the piece the welds to the outer bedside and the wheel house on the inner bedside. Then you'd also have the change out the stake pocket area on the inner bedside. Assuming that the bed would be from an 83-96 truck. Easiest way to tell that is if the tailgate is supported when in the open position by tailgate straps or if it's supported by the metal tailgate hinges like our dentside trucks. And that is because of the way that the tailgate latches to the bed. They are totally different.

Seems to me it would be easier to get a sheet of diamond deck and some square tubing for support. I wonder if that would work. Then just weld the inner and outers to it?
