The only thing I would use Wally world oil in is my lawn mower. I have read from several sites that there oil is recycled oil. I use Valvoline Fully syn in my mothers Focus and Valvoline Max life which is a syn. blend in everything else. Just my 2 cents.
EDIT: Yes I have used wally syn in my mower didn't care for the way it lasted(6 months) which is fine for a mower, But I wouldn't put it in anything else. It thined out to quickly and got sticky.

Reason: left out part.
it is just oil made by another company with the supertech oil sticker. I use the supertech conventional in my bump and my dads 79 f-350 with no problems. Both leak and burn oil so there is no need to buy high priced oil for them

I have never used the wally conventional oil in anything thing so I can't comment on it, but the syn. didn't last but one Mowing season, avg. 4 hrs of use a week, for 6 months. While all other syns. I have used (moblie one, valvoline, and castro.) will go about 10,000 miles before getting that thin/sticky glue like feeling.
I aint saying Supertech/wally brand is a totally bad oil, but I wouldn't use it in anything I put a good bit of money in.
Hodges I dont blame you for using the cheap stuff if you are burning/leaking it faster than it would where out.
After a small bit of research It appears, supertech is made by 3 different oil companys depending on the region you are in. Either exxon/mobil, Shell(pennzoil), or Warren. I don't know which made the Supertech I get but that could have a noticable differance in quality.
I live in the VA region.
I read an article on oil filters a few months ago that really opened my eyes. I a appears Fram uses a Cardboard Check Valve in there fliter which may come apart. If anyone would like to read the article with pics I can try to find it and post a link.

Just curious but how do you measure 10K mi on a mower?
I guess it depends on what it was going in. I fresh engine I wouldn't use it. An older engine that leaks or burns a little I don't think it will hurt anything.
