MAP sensor bracket - GM

Hi,

The MAP sensor bracket is gone from my 84 Fiero

Should be under the car, but I can't find it.

I know that GM probably used this same sensor on a lot of TBI cars

Any thoughts on where to get one, or how to make one?

If you say junk yard, please give me some alternate vehicles to search.

Thanks,

hj

how do you know it is gone? is the MAP just a hanging?

any boneyard should have one, GM mounted them on firewalls and intake manifolds so select one from a yard that is close to what you have.

Problem (hopefully ) solved.

It's a Dorman 41113 that I can get from Oreilly. They are $1.39 for a card of 2,

This is the same little gizmo that GM used on the pvc filter in the air cleaner, and on virtually every MAP sensor.

There are 40 pages of applications on the Dorman site.

I know it's off because I had the sensor out while I was doing some maintenance. I hung the clip on it, reminding myself to be careful.....
