Keyless Entry
I have a 2006 E-150 with a keyless entry system. Both key fobs quit. I installed new battries and did the reprogram cycle. The locks work with the door switchs. The truck did go into the program mode (doors locked and unlocked). The system never responded to either key fob. I understand the keyless system has a antenna, could the connection have come off?. Where do I look for the system?

Can't speak for the '06's but my '97 E250 had the illuminated entry and such in an enclosure located just behind the drivers seat on the body side--two larger wire harnesses entering the B pillar post which eventually ran under the left side footwell step where it then connected to chassis wiring near the emergency brake pedal.
Perhaps a connection has failed but knowing some of these features there'll be a module or other assembly probably gone wrong.
