What kind of engine oil do you guys like to use in your trucks?

i use shell rotella t 15w40 in my truck with a wix power stroke oil filter(51734 or 51734xe) because they are bigger

So for S&G's i tried the premium walmart brand oil, with the yellow label, and i see no difference in oil consistency, color or noise from the rotella 1540. I have run for a 90 day period and it still has a dark clear color, as in i can see through it to see the dip stick. So it seems good and for 45 a 20L pail, it isnt too bad. i get almost two oil changes out of a pail and the filters are 12 from walmart for the strokes. puts me at 34.50 for an oil change.

Perf, Thats what you want, SM rated oils should not be run in Diesel's or Flat Tappet motors.
Many oils today are SM rated only.
