Does full synthetic oil catch fire like plain oil?

as far from the engine as the hose would reach. its right under the drivers side front door on the frame rail. i wanted to give the oil some time to cool in the hose and let the filters get some good wind passing by them. help keep those temps down. they have some finned oil filter covers that help too, think im gonna get a few of those and slap em on.

ya, if i decide to only go 12k miles on this system, im still ahead of the game 130 bucks. vs standard oil. plus the bypass system lets me run 14 qts.

That's awesome, I know it wouldn't help much but that would help if your turbo ever failed and oil started leaking into your engine.

Maybe someday you could make a thread on your bypass kit?
