Hello Everyone, I am getting my catback exhaust on saturday the shop told me there would be no need to change the exhaust pipe since it is already 3 inch, they told me i should just add the flowmaster. I want my truck to have a medium loud sound since the exhaust will be way at the back of the truck and I want to actually hear it when im driving. Would it be overkill to take the resonator out? Eventually i will get headers but for now its just from the back of the cat back. Drone is not much of an issue to me, I just want it to sound good.

Is that an Excursion? If so, you might want to ask that question in the Excursion forum, there's a bunch of people in there that MUST have removed that resonator at one time or another
