dont want to shift
hi guys,i have a 98 f-150 super cab 4x4 with auto tranny,not sure what tranny i have,it has 221000 miles,my problem just started this past sunday,it dont want to shift from first to second,if i run the rpm up to about 2500 and let off the gas it will shift,all other shifting is normal,ive been reading the threads and someone else said the tps gets dead spots,could this be my problem ? any help would be appreciated
