Is there a TSB out there for leaking Degass bottles ,
not thru the cap,but thru a crack or split,or the hose under it. Truck in sig. has one leaking and scheduled in next week for it.
You can pull it and see if you can find the leak. Drain about a gallon of coolant out, then remove hoses, and 2 screws on top, presto it's out. When installing, make sure the thing on the lower back side gets bake in it's place, or the bottle will sit higher in the front, and might hit the hood when it closes.
But since you are still under warranty, They will probably just replace and send you on your way. Not sure what they cost.

I've seen it dripping from the bottom pretty good while under pressure.and to go thru that I would just replace it.And a new cap But bringing it to the dealership gives me the chance to look at the 2011 SD's and giving the sales people a shot at earning my business again...
I was wondering if FMC had a issue with these, I love my truck...
