Degasser bottle
Can I clean the degasser bottle out? It has black layer of crud all over the bottom of it, it is gritty, and darker near the bottom hose. I have already done the coolant filter.

black crud could be from the hoses over time. That is how my crown vic is. I just did a complete flush in it, but didn't bother with the degass bottle. as long as I can open the lid and see clean fluid it is ok.
