V10 Backpressure
If i were to remove the cat off of my V10 (122,000 miles) would it be enough backpressure with just the muffler? it seems like after that long, the cat would get a little plugged up....and i dont really have the money for a new one.....ideas??

Whats anyones thought on cleaning it out? I had mine out, hooked a leaf blower to the outlet side, vac to the inlet and alot of what looked like soot came out. (I did do this outside and was careful not to breath the crap)

If it makes you happy, do it.
But if you get so much out that it seems to make a difference in performance, you should spend time to find out why. If all is OK, it should not need any maintenance.
