The air direction doors are vacuum operated. You either have a very big vacuum leak, a bad vacuum pump or a blown fuse. You need to start with the pump, see if it has power, see if it will run, etc. Then start working your way down the lines until you find the leak.
I think my vacuum pump has gone out. I checked it with test light an it is getting power. My 4 wheel drive will not engage either. So i am thinking its my vacuum pump gone bad ????

If it has power and does not run, then yes it is bad. Your description is a little ambiguous.
Just out of curiosity not to hi-jack the thread or anything but I have manual hubs but of course I have a vacuum pump for the AC as all the knuckles for the 4x4 are the same. I have the nipple on the knuckle it just has a plug over it and I know the yellow o-ring is in the hub since I put new timkins in about 10k ago. My question is could I in theory rig up some hose and new locks on the axle and make auto hubs my self? How would that work? Is there open plugs on the vacuum pump for the hubs that I am not using. Never looked. I have the factory locks up front and after 110K was thinking of replacing. I know I would still have to do the lever on the floor. But it would be nice to not have to get out to do the locks.
