Back in the day, rear bumpers were an option. Most opted for the dock bumper cuz the factory "contour" bumper didn't have a tow hitch. Nowadays bolt-on hitches are mostly the norm.

I'm not aware of a delete cover/roll pan. I think that's an aftermarket invention.

With regards to the tag, I've seen 'em simply screwed onto the bed's rear panel under the tailgate.

LMC offers a rollpan with a tag recess.

Get a welder and you'll never look at metal the same way again. Hobart's 140 is a nice piece. I have a Miller 140 with Autoset and it's awesome. Alternatively, Eastwood came out with their own branded welders at a very affordable price.

i like those roll pans from lmc...but the price isn't in the cards...just yet..so i'll stick with my step bumper until i can get around to making one or buying it..

I'm in the same boat.....I've been thinking of building a tube rod... I've got a spare 289 and C4.

Ain't that crazy?! I dig it.... it's what Darth Vader would drive.
