460 build
ok i bought a 77 lincoln 460 and im olanning on building it ford a truck. my head numbers are d3v3 a2a are these good heads for the build or should i look for diff heads. also im looking to get 500 horse or so thanks guys

thats a high horsepower number to shoot for without a head swap. with a head swap its fully doable, but you'll need to rev it up some to get it there. there are a few places that will rebuild the stock heads with some serious performance work, or you can jump into a set of aftermarket aluminum heads. look for d00e heads.
Make sure and keep your torque high throughout the powerband. That'll help more than an astronomical horsepower number.
