m5od

looking for an manual m5od to replace the fm146, but none to be had from the exploders, all auto. and rangersa are a hit and miss, what would definatly have the m5 tranny? and does the bronco 2 and ranger use the same rear axles, just bigger backing plates and drums?

The M5OD behind the 4.0 had different gear ratios than the ones behind the 3.0, 2.9 and 4 cyl. Try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market . I have read the spring pad spacing for the Ranger and BII are different. And the Ranger has the pumpkin off set to one side to clear the side mounted fuel tanks.
