Reverse back-up camera....

I have hooked up to many a trailer in my day and have to say that the rear camera on these F350's is the greatest thing since sliced bread!
I have done it so long with many different trucks and trailers that it is second nature.
I am truly amazed at how easy and precise this tool makes it!
If anyone is considering the option and does alot of trailering, GO FOR IT!
Not only will it line it up for you, but if you look closely it will put the ball right in the coupler.

my 08 didn't come with it.. I added a wireless one and man what a joy.

adding a nav unit now to put the pic on the dash screen instead of holding the add on screen

I need to figure out a way to install a camera to see my fifth wheel hitch. The center headrest in the back seat makes it pita.

I need the same thing rick for my Gooseneck. I'm just not able to spend the money right now for the Lockpick and camera.

Broughton, I have to agree with you. I hook up a trailer almost daily, often multiple trailers each day. The back up camera is the sole reason I bought the Nav system in this truck. So I could have a good view of hooking up.

I was tired of getting close and getting out in a muddy place to just check and see if I was close enough. Getting in and out several times tracking mud into my truck.

I pulled out my rear center headrest and put it in the garage as I keep my dog in the back and ride with the sliding rear window open alot. It also helps with visibilty out the back.

I was trying to keep the expenses down, so I almost didn't get the camera as an option, surprising most of the trucks I see on dealers lots don't come with the backup camera option. I am always hooking up to trailers. the only thing that sucks is they make you buy the interior package which has the power seat and combo bottons on the drivers door to unlock, this option is like $795 then the back up camera is like 4 something on top of that. I have no use for the power seat and would actually prefer not to have it, but I had to get that to get the camera,

it also comes with the advanced security group, does anyone know what this is?? is it a car alarm??

I take all three headrests out and place them behind the seat, so I can put a cover over the rear seat for my dog.

I take off one of the side ones for the baby's car seat. It fits right in the under seat storage on the passenger side. I don't use that side because of the car seat anyway.
