I would say it is equal or superior to the Allison transmission used in the GMC and Chubby trucks.

Also, if you search this forum for transmission troubles, you'll quickly see most problems are 4R100 problems, not 5R110W problems.

thank you , good to know. i am gonna try to go look at this unit again tomarrow and get some more info. like the VIN etc. been awile since i drove a ford
