WHEN INSTALLING NEW IH UP PIPES DO YOU REMOVE THE TURBO OR CAN IT BE DONE FROM ALL UNDER THE TRUCK. DOES SOME ONE HAVE A DETAIL STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE?
I'm sure you could do it without removing the turbo, but it would take way more time. At least it would for me.... my big hands don't fit very well in tight spots.
How on earth did you do that without removing the turbo?
This is a job i'm tackling in the next couple/few months and I'm not sure if it's possible with the turbo in the way. My turbo doesn't leak either so if it's possible I may go this route as well.
lol have a platform in my shop when i drive into it..the platform goes from driver door around the front and to the pasanger door and big enough for my tool box and a little work bench.....everything under the hood is at my hight.....a sharp air chisel and a cute off wheel took car of the rest...all you need is for one pipe to come out and the rest will go the other way...
