Why are door lock actuators so expensive?

Door lock Accuater

If you are even mildly mechanicly inclined you can replace it with an after market accuater from your local Pepboys or 12 volt audio shop for under $15 good luck Jim

Actually I have pulled several at the JY's and had good luck with them. Not that hard to test them with some jumper wires and a battery at the JY, and for $5 or so for one it beats $50 plus
