i just got my "new" 77 F100 XLT Ranger back home today. I was wondering if anybody knew of a particular kind of wheels that looks good on these trucks? Mine is a single cab, short bed 2WD. Pics would be nice. Looking to stay with 15" wheels, but am open to suggestions.
i like to stick with the older stuff or the cheaper chrome wteel wheel. i dont care for the new dick cepek style wheels on the older trucks. but it is really what you like. there is more pics in my album.
The choice is yours !!! Personally I'm leaning toward a set of "standard" chrome reverse rims with duplex acorn lug nuts. < going on a '75 F-250 Ranger Supercab > dark metallic blue / most of the 'bright-work' removed. (retro)

What i really like are the 10-hole bullet style wheels found on 1990-96 F150s and full sized broncos. I thought i could find a set but have thus far failed.

Sounds good. I wanted a bit different - seems like 1/2 the trucks have similiar to that. I wanted "retro", and Ford used to have reverse rims. The '64 Galaxy wagon I used to have needed the rims turned turtle to change the tires. The chrome reverse looks deeper and with duplex acorn nuts, adds to the effect. My 2d choice is full moons, or racing discs to some / lots easier to clean and won't load up with mud/dirt when "playing".
