It didn't hurt my feelings Burt. Chances are pretty good, my list of vehicles owned seriously shames yours. I have had a number from each brand. I kept my '99 F350 until it had 280k on it. I kept my '92 Dodge until it had 325k on it. My last F150 work truck had 266k on it. You are a fool if you think somehow Ford has a lock on long lasting trucks. That is the sort of response I would expect though, from a brand loyal fool

Like I said, I have owned them all. I started out a Chevy man back with an '89 Suburban. I finally gave up on them with my last chevy a '03 2500HD. I had half a dozen Chevys, eight Dodges and have had five Fords. I just happen to know better than to stick with just one. For the most part, I haven't NEEDED to keep trucks beyond 100k miles. The ones I did were work trucks, and the fact is, by 250k miles they are worn out no matter who built it.

I have Fords now because they were cheap. Give me another year or so and I will be back in a Benz.

Ford is number one because of what? Fleet sales of bargain basement priced models? Big deal.

I am saying I prefer to Drive a Ford truck. They are far more reliable...period!!!
