E4OD last year used???

Hy guys I was wondering what was the last year used as factory installed tranny the E4OD???

I had a F150 with 4.9l engine + E4OD tranny and I want know if I can replace 4.9 Inline 6 with a 4.2 V6 engine, no matters wiring I'll take care...

Somebody know if any truck was assembled with a 4.2l V6 and E4OD??? or just 4.2 V6 and 4R70W???

There was never a 4.2L and E4OD combination. All automatic 4.2L trucks had the 4R70W.

Ok Thanks, that was the first step...

Now, as far as I know, 4R70W has same bolt pattern as E4OD, AOD and C6, isn't it? so, I can install and E4OD behind a 4.2l...

The 4R70W, E4OD, and C6 each were made with several bolt patterns. Each of those trans was produced with a pattern that will mate to the 4.2L. Each was also made with patterns that will not mate to the 4.2L. Be careful when buying one.

What are you going to use to make the E4OD shift? It's a computer controlled trans.

You could use a Baumann Engineering Baumannator TCS (transmission control system) to control the transmission.

Well Right know my has a 300 CID, carby engine AND a E4OD behind controlled with a Baumman controller, this controller is not the best but it does the job.

I had the oportunity to get a used almost new 4.2L from one of our truck wich is about to be junked, so my idea is very simple, remove the actual 300 and replace it with the 4.2L controlled by the stock Ford ECM and tranny will still running with its Baumman controller, isn't nice???
