What are you going to use to make the E4OD shift? It's a computer controlled trans.

Well Right know my has a 300 CID, carby engine AND a E4OD behind controlled with a Baumman controller, this controller is not the best but it does the job.
I had the oportunity to get a used almost new 4.2L from one of our truck wich is about to be junked, so my idea is very simple, remove the actual 300 and replace it with the 4.2L controlled by the stock Ford ECM and tranny will still running with its Baumman controller, isn't nice???
