High idle mode , using upfitter switch??

High idle mode , using upfitter switch??
Getting ready to do the high idle thingy. I found in the tech folder, as well as help in the normal threads, but still want to make sure. It says that wire number 322 is the one, light blue with yellow stripe. Connect this wire to wire number 294 which is white with light blue stripe. This wire (294) is hot with the key on. But this way i still need a switch. My question is, can't i just connect one of the upfitter switches to wire number 322 and be done with it. The upfitters also is hot with key on. I guess the info in the tech folder was for folks without the upfitter switches. Just wanna make sure before i do something wrong, thanks. herb

This is the write up I used to do my high idle mod. Very plain and simple directions using the upfitter switches.
