89 front bumper

89 front bumper
On my 89, there is a bend or kink in the front bumper. Its on the other two 89s we have. I know that mine has never hit anything with the front end as I just took off the cow killer I had on it. My Grandpa took off the stock front bumper when he bought the pickup new and it sat in the rafters of the barn ever since.
Is that a factory thing or what?

I asked my grandma, They have had the three 89's all custom ordered at different times that year. Yet all have the kink. Different trim levels, and engines in these three. Very weird. They never went anywhere with stock bumper on. Went from dealer to home to get front and rear replacement. And there is no paint/chrome distortion on the bumpers.
