Ah ok... sorry for getting carried away. I just know the endless headaches that come from messing with the throttle plate stop screw. Not to mention the tedious process of resetting it afterward. It just scares me to think about it.

both my buddy and i's broncos are idleing the same way however mine will stall. mine keeps falling down to around 400 rpm. give it gas and it come right back but she'll drop back down to 400 and bounce back and forth then dies...

When was the last time the IAC was cleaned well? A dirty Idle Air Control valve can cause these issues. If you aren't getting any fault codes from the KOEO or KOER tests and cleaning the IAC doesn't help, you might have thermal sensor issues. But I'd start with the IAC and the self-tests.
