okay i need to know if the e4od's and the t-case share a common fluid supply, im thinking they dont but i thought i'd ask. my t-case shifter was being very tempramental tonight. i've never put it in 4x untill tonight, just got it thursday. it went into 4hi easy enough then it didnt want to go into neutral. finally got it to go to 4lo after that. but then i couldnt get it out of 4x it took some playing back and forth but it went into 2x. it has been sitting so my other thought is its just sticking from lack of use.
You followed the proper procedure when engaging/dis-engaging the 4wd? high and low? Anyway, a 4wd that doesn't see much use tend to get stuck, it might be needing some tlc also.
Yes, the fluids are separate. See the plug on the transfer case.
Yes, if it is electric, push button shift, use it or lose it. Regular engagement helps keep the shift motor free.
