Bench seat option??

I was trying to build a 2011 truck and get an idea on the cost and options. I could not get a bench seat in the front. Is that still an available option?

Yep, I believe on all trim levels except King Ranch.

When building the truck, it's within the Interior section. Scroll the options window all the way down, you can select 40/20/40 (seat/center console) or 40/console/40 with no center seat option.

It's sad that I know this by heart, have built one numerous times online...

Man I feel stupid. Thanks I saw that option but they looked the same in the little picture so I thought there was no change.

Bowie, the new split bench has storage in both the flip up arm rest/middle seat back and below the seat bottom. It's pretty cool.

Didn't know the seat bottom had storage too. That's cool considering how small the storage was (at least compared to my '00) in the seat back.

I copied this from the brochure (hope the paste works):

FRONT LOCKABLE UNDERSEAT STORAGE with a 12-volt power point is included on the available 40/20/40 split front seat on XLT and LARIAT.

The storage under seat is nice. Not in the XL trim unless it's optioned with the XLT seat. I found this out when I was shopping leather seats. I guess having the STX option gives you the XLT interior. (2017 anyway, not sure if still that way on newer trucks)
I had the console in my 150 and missed having the extra seat and I also didn't like the cockpit feel it created. The console on bench seats is pretty good to me and usb add-on s are easy enough I don't miss them. Don't need the heat/cool option but I did like leather and adding that after the fact was much cheaper than factory option
(Ended up install ing Roadwire Leather)

Pick what you want and prefer.
Goog Luck!
