Anybody? , I am new to the forum but not my old Ford Broncos. I currently use my '68 as the beach buggy and have been itching for more room. I have been into my Broncos for about 25 years and cannot count all the Pony's I've owned. I also have in the garage a near original '67 which is currently up for sale and I have a '70 rolling chassis with a 435 tranny and 205 x-fer case and tons of goodies to go with this also on the auction block. Both are a tough sale in this economy.
I am contemplating on buying an early Econoline '61-'68 to install on the '70 chassis. Or maybe using my Dana 44 disc brake set-up ('76 bronco)to install under the van along with x-fer case and linkage.
I love my Broncos but I would like more room for the beach and other camping excursions which all require 4 wheel drive.
My question is does anybody on the forum know of the best way to go forward with these plans? I have been searching the web and all other contacts I know of. It appears the van body would fit the bronco frame with some modifacations, how much, I do not know. I would greatly appreciate any input on this matter.
Thanks!! All the best, Tim
