GFORCE CHIP
I bought a gforce chip for my 1997 f250 it has a 460 ci engine and the truck only has 14,000 miles on it. I did not install it yet and I just read that all these chips are junk. Does anyone have a gforce chip and does it work??

It's probably a $0.10 resistor wrapped in a fancy package, but without a link, I can't tell you for sure.
If you're still looking for a performance increase, below is a list of reputable AND EXPERIENCED F150/250 gasser tuners. Some might not be able to support the 97 (OBDI).
I recommend you consider one of these with custom tunes:
