help asap

Okay today I was driving, went around the corner then bam it dies. When I Pope's the hood I noticed that the battery n it died now it wont start n the only fuses I found were under the steering wheel n its just the simple stuff nothing major.

88 f250 7.3l diesel 5spd. That's all I did was turned a corner n it died, n it shorted out. I don't have a tester.

Nope. It arked so bad it put a hole in the hood n I don't have power to anything

hahaha... dont worry bud. its hard to read joes typing. first things first. are you getting juice to the rest of the truck? if so then check the solenoid. the one on the firewall might be bad. jump a wire from one big post to the other and see if it cranks. wait... you said the truck wont start, but will it crank? guess i should have started with that question. if it cranks and wont fire then check for 12v to the ip. it wont fire if its not getting power.

Fried fusible link? I always hated them silly things, they do not belong in trucks period!

where is the hole is it over the batterys positive post then if so the battery is fried

Was it the passenger side battery that hit the hood?

Probably ripped the small wire from the positive post to the starter relay out, so no power to anything.

some time when were towing it home (via to strap) the dash lights would come on,then nothing ,then it sat for a lil n the door locks worked,then nothing.

it was the drivers side, n power comes n goes threw out the truck but is not constant.
