I'm am about to buy (maybe not now) a 2008 F250 XLT CC 4X4. I just noticed that there are no 4X4 decals at the rear of the box. I thought they all came with them. If they were there and aren't now that would leave me to believe the box may have been painted.
So my question is do all 4X4s have the decals? I looked at a bunch for sale on Autotrader and they all seem to have them.
Alot of guys pull them off for a cleaner look, I think the OEM decals are ugly as sin. I still haven't removed mine but I likely will before too long.
You can't tell squat by decals anyway, I've seen guys with a 2 wheel drive put the 4X4 decals on..why I don't know but they do. Kind of like all the Chevy/GMC guys that run out and get Z71 decals to put on their non Z71 trucks

Its because it adds more horsepower. Recent studies show that Z71 decals add 5.7876 more horsepower over stock. A 4X2 truck with a 4X4 decal really is a 4X4 because it says so.
