Got most of my problems solved. I fixed the truck dying with a new distributor / PIP and the trucks been running awesome
This morning I took it to work and the CEL came on. I pulled the codes in the parking lot and Im getting a 332. I researched the 332 and found some posts from https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...egr-valve.html .
I got this code from KOEO and have not done a KOER yet. Im kinda confused on all the EGR terms
EVR
EVP
EGR
I have a vacuume pump with a gauge, how can I go about testing this system. Can I put vacuume on the sensor and get a readout with my volt meter? Should I test the valve, the can, the sensor??
Attach your meter to the EVP sensor, apply some vacuum directly to the EGR valve. Monitor the output voltage to verify it is increasing as you add more vacuum. If that checks out, verify vacuum is getting to the EVR solenoid then onto the EGR valve itself. DTC 332 indicates the PCM is not sensing the EGR valve is opening.
